As 2024 draws to a close, we reflect on the key milestones from Phase II of the Feminist Youth Leadership Programme with UN Women India.♀️ 1️⃣ Mentorship & Capacity Building: Cohort members participated in mentorship sessions with civil society experts to enhance their skills for 𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐠𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐥 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐜𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐬. 2️⃣ Regional Consultations: Feminist youth leaders from Guwahati (North-East), Chennai (South), Srinagar, and Ranchi (North) shared critical contextual insights and strategies to address gender inequality at both local and global levels. 🌍 3️⃣ 𝐅𝐞𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐬𝐭 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐨𝐟 𝐏𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐞 (𝐂𝐨𝐏): We launched a unique digital platform for youth leaders, organisations, and networks, offering: ◾ Inspiring blogs and stories from feminist youth leaders🌱 ◾ A curated digital archive of resources and toolkits📚 ◾ Opportunities for meaningful collaborations and connections🌟 Explore the CoP here: https://lnkd.in/g_Q5TnYH 4️⃣ Podcast: We launched the 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐛𝐲 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 podcast🎙️, to amplify the voices and journeys of feminist youth leaders. Over 100 passionate young leaders from across the country gathered to engage in meaningful discussions on feminist youth leadership.
