It was an absolute honour to support the Little Festival, celebrate with young readers, and share the story of Doorbeen with an even wider audience. Our key highlight was the Doorbeen Library Tent—a vibrant space buzzing with fun activities and a cozy corner where children could read, swap books, and explore. Equally special was the workshop for librarians, which shared fresh ideas and tools to help them spark a lifelong love of reading in their communities. Both spaces showcased the joy and impact that stories can bring to young minds and those who guide them. It was heartening to see a strong presence of children’s literature at the festival, and even more exciting to watch parents and children enthusiastically browsing and buying these books, bringing the joy of reading home to their families Supporting the Little Festival aligns with our mission to reach a broader audience and engage children, families, and educators in the transformative magic of reading. Doorbeen reflects the Foundation’s deep belief in the power of books to unlock new worlds for children, helping them imagine, dream, and broaden their horizons. Spaces like these are crucial for mainstreaming the importance of accessible, engaging reading materials, particularly in regional languages. To date, Doorbeen has reached over 60,000 children, built 540 libraries, and developed nearly 200 books in regional languages—and this is just the beginning. A heartfelt thank you to Literature Live and QTP Entertainment for hosting such an inspiring celebration of storytelling and reading. Thank you to everyone who joined us and celebrated with us.
