Following the successful completion of the first batch of the 40-hour Mediation Training Programme, the International Arbitration and Mediation Centre (IAMC), Hyderabad, conducted a Mediation Sensitization Presentation for the members of the Telangana High Court Advocates' Association at the High Court for the State of Telangana. The session, led by Mr. Jawad A J , Registrar, IAMC Hyderabad, focused on the growing pendency of cases in Indian courts and the untapped potential of mediation in enhancing access to justice. Citing NITI Aayog’s statistics, he highlighted how a large number of disputes never reach the courts, and how mediation can play a role in resolving these conflicts efficiently. Mr. Jawad further discussed how referring more cases to mediation can reduce the judicial backlog, thereby allowing courts to prioritize other pressing disputes. He also addressed the commercial advantages of mediation for legal professionals. #Mediation #IAMCHyderabad #AccessToJustice #AlternativeDisputeResolution #LegalFraternity #TelanganaHighCourtAdvocates #MediationAdvocacy
