India-Sweden Semiconductor Day 2024, 25th November. It was a pleasure hosting esteemed delegates from Business Sweden, the Consulate General of Sweden, India, Alleima, Mat4Green Tech AB, Atlas Copco, and Systemair at IIT Bombay Research Park Foundation-ASPIRE! India is transitioning from a global semiconductor design and R&D hub to establishing a complete ecosystem, supported by government initiatives and rising industry demand. The India-Sweden Semiconductor Platform, launched on October 12, 2023, fosters collaboration by sharing best practices across the value chain. Over the past year, engagements between governments, academia, and industries have strengthened ties. This partnership now extends to include more Swedish semiconductor and manufacturing companies. The Fellowship will support one MTech student at IIT Bombay each year for the next five years. Open to students across all Departments, it focuses on advancing education and research in High-Performance Ceramics and Strategic Materials.
