A Heartwarming Journey of Giving and Connection 🎵✨ As part of Children’s Month, Literacy India organized a meaningful trip for students in grades 8 to 10, focusing on the joy of giving. The students carried musical instruments, purchased with support from a corporate partner, to the Louis Braille Drishtiheen Sansthan in Jaipur. This visit was an eye-opening experience as the children met visually impaired children and youth and learned about their lives, resilience, and innovative tools like Braille systems and audio keyboards. The students presented the instruments and joined in a heartfelt musical exchange, discovering the power of giving and the strength of inclusion. Together, they shared laughter, melodies, and inspiring stories, leaving with special friendships and a more profound sense of empathy. The journey also included a short exploration of Jaipur’s iconic landmarks, like Hawa Mahal and Jantar Mantar, adding moments of fun and cultural learning to this unforgettable trip. Along with his colleague Aart Rupert, Marc recent visit to Bajghera Village Campus, engaging with women and children to encourage their progress. As part of the Karigari Program, they have gifted sewing machines to empower women and presented certificates to the women’s team who successfully led their own skilling initiatives under the Asha Program led by expert Ms. Abha Chaudhary.
