IKP is excited to announce the successful completion of the second batch of the Copenhagen Business Immersion Program 2024, which marks a significant milestone in our ongoing collaboration with Copenhagen Business School (CBS) to drive innovation and global partnerships. As part of the course Designing Imaginative Business Models, a team of 40 CBS students was selected to travel to #Hyderabad, India for an immersion experience in building business models with Indian companies. This year, five startups from the IKP Knowledge Park ecosystem—Bycus Therapeutics, Huwel Lifesciences, Monitra Health, UR Advanced Therapeutics, and IKP PRIME (a technology transfer office of IKP)—collaborated with teams from within the IKP ecosystem. Under the guidance of Prof. Sudhanshu Rai and with valuable inputs from Deepanwita Chattopadhyay, the students undertook comprehensive research for IKP, addressing a specific problem statement and presenting their observations and recommendations through detailed presentations. In this two-month program, students worked with companies online in October and participated in a three-week on-site engagement in Hyderabad in November. Their final presentations of the students' teams offered actionable insights on improvement strategies and global market expansion for the companies. This program highlights the transformative potential of collaborative learning and innovation, fostering growth and impactful outcomes for the students and stakeholders in the IKP ecosystem. #InnovationEcosystem #GlobalPartnerships #CollaborativeLearning #BusinessInnovation #DesignThinking #BusinessModels #IKP #Innovation #Business #Collaboration Sanjay Sarin Bandhana Katoch, Esq., MBA, MS, RTTP Manish Kumar, RTTP Vithal K Lakkineni, Ph.D. Sangita Majee Anuradha Barua Harshada Wadkar Bindu Nishal Viswanadham Duppatla Fie Linde Orlando Holenweger Katarina Filipas Maria Luisa Vogel Ida Gavlen Julie Hordnes Mari-Beth Trainor Prerna Rohilla Dr. Priyankana Mukherjee Apoorva Bhatnagar Sridhar Ramanathan IKP EDEN Aaqib Jameel Navin Kumar K Dedeepya Chermala Vishaka Sawan Ranajit Sen Sudha Kalyani Bommareddy, Ph.D. Rohika B Bhujanga Rao Kilari Prasad GVVS Jaganmohan Reddy Rachana Tripathi Ravi Bhogu

I am delighted to share my contributions to the “Regional meeting/workshop for capacity building in technology transfer and public-health oriented intellectual property licensing agreements to increase access to health technologies” organized by the World Health Organization, Regional Office of South-East Asia on November 19-21, 2024, at Kerala, India, representing IKP PRIME, technology transfer office at IKP Knowledge Park. The objectives of the meeting were capacity building and brainstorming policy interventions related to Intellectual Property management and technology transfer/licensing practices through identifying individual and regional needs and potential models and recommendations to maximize public health technologies (medicines, vaccines, diagnostics, devices) and regional production in SEAR countries. I presented the achievements of IKP-PRIME and IKP Knowledge Park in IP Management, Technology Transfer/Licensing, and technology commercialization related to public health and shared experiences, challenges, and recommendations for creating a vibrant and sustainable ecosystem in the SEAR countries. I also worked with a group of diverse experts to work out policy recommendations and action plans for the SEAR countries and presented the findings alongside Dr.Suchita Markan and Ram Siddappa, PhD, MBA. Country representatives from Bangladesh, Nepal, Indonesia, Thailand, and Sri Lanka, and WHO, The National Institutes of Health Office of Technology Transfer, Leiden University, Medicines Patent Pool, World Intellectual Property Organization – WIPO along with several Indian experts from the Ministries of Health, Commerce and Pharma, Central Drugs Standard Control Organization (CDSCO), Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), Biotechnology Industry Research Assistance Council (BIRAC), Sathguru Management Consultants, and Wadhwani Foundation attended the meeting. 𝙐𝙣𝙞𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙈𝙞𝙣𝙙𝙨, 𝙄𝙜𝙣𝙞𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙁𝙪𝙩𝙪𝙧𝙚𝙨! We were thrilled to host participants of the 𝙄𝙣𝙣𝙤𝙫𝙖𝙩𝙤𝙧𝙨 𝘾𝙤𝙣𝙣𝙚𝙘𝙩-𝙏𝙖𝙣𝙙𝙚𝙢 2024, a two-week immersion program organized by the German Centre for Research and Innovation DWIH New Delhi. This initiative brings together 28 early-career researchers and early-stage start-up founders from India and Germany to collaborate on innovative ideas and foster Indo-German partnerships in research and technology development. During their visit, the group explored IKP Knowledge Park, learned about the cutting-edge innovations nurtured here, and engaged in vibrant discussions on what motivates researchers to become entrepreneurs and the support they need. IKP facilitated an engaging session where researchers interacted with Bycus and IKP-supported start-ups, including Startoon Labs Pvt. Ltd, India , Porus Laboratories Private Limited, Ctrl+z, Kalapa Chemicals. These start-ups shared their entrepreneurial journeys and experiences, inspiring the visiting researchers with their success stories and insights. This exchange of knowledge and ideas is a valuable opportunity for both our start-ups and the visiting researchers to share insights, foster collaboration, and take the first steps towards groundbreaking innovations across borders. #InnovatorsConnect #Startups #ResearchInnovation #IKPKnowledgePark #DWIH #GlobalCollaboration #Entrepreneurship #Tandem2024 DAAD India Julian Rasmus Bankwitz Pooja Barak, PhD Maximilian Bode Shantanu Sen Pragati Parakkat Anchal Chandra Sri Harsha Paladugu Dipendra Yadav Saravanakumar Dharmaraj Mertcan Kaya Tanush Prem Sarah Mayrhofer Elmentoz Research Gaurvanshi G.
