The Pawar family in Kamatwadi, Dolvi faced severe challenges due to a lack of basic sanitation facilities. JSW Foundation, through the Light House Initiative, supported the construction of a toilet for the family. This intervention led to a dramatic reduction in waterborne diseases, enhancing safety and cleaner surroundings for the Pawar family. In rural areas, integrating different farming practices can significantly enhance livelihoods. In Sandur, our collaboration with Raichur University and Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Ballari is helping to promote integrated farming systems. As part of this initiative, we distributed 400 poultry to 20 farmers, offering them an additional income source.
