Our Young & Wise Council was born out of a desire to extend our work with young learners beyond the Wise Child Program. We aim to nurture the inherent wisdom in children, as we believe that wisdom is something everyone possesses and just needs to be cultivated. 🌱✨ In this council, young learners engaged in deeper activities and meaningful conversations, all rooted in the FUEL Methodology. Recently, we explored the burning question, "What's a good friendship like?" This thought-provoking question sparked many ideas and images of what being part of a good friendship truly means. ❤️ In our endeavor to create meaning through metaphors, this question led learners to come up with a manifesto of metaphors on good friendship! We took our conversations beyond words and playfully brought our metaphors to life. 🎨 If you were asked the same question, what metaphors would you imagine? What feelings emerge for you? 'Growing up in Luxembourg was a very unique experience. Over 48% of the Luxembourgish population is made up of foreigners. Over 170 different nationalities have been recorded to reside there - which is a lot for such a small country. And that impacted every part of my life. In school, it was often the case that in a class, every single person had a different nationality. It gave us the opportunity to learn about other cultures; to be curious.
