We just wrapped up an incredible 3rd Agri Founders Retreat in Jaipur on 22nd and 23rd August 2024, where 50 passionate Agri Founders came together in a Safe Space to share their experiences, challenges, and visions for the future. The atmosphere was electric, filled with collaboration, innovation, and the collective ambition to propel our ecosystem forward. This retreat wasn’t just a meeting; it was a small step towards a giant leap for the entire agri-tech ecosystem. The connections and ideas we’ve sparked here have the potential to create lasting impacts, and I’m excited to see where our collaborations will take us. A big thank you to Venky Ramachandran and Vinay Nikam, the brilliant minds who envisioned this gathering, and gave me the opportunity to be part of the Organizing Team (Kalyani Shinde, Shailendra Singh, Amrendra Singh, Renuka Diwan, Dinesh Santhanam & Jasveer Singh .), and make it all happen seamlessly. We had the privilege of hosting an insightful industrial visit from the Department of Biotechnology students at Tulsiram Gaikwad Patil College to MitraSena's manufacturing facility. The visit was an excellent opportunity for the students to gain firsthand experience and knowledge about our cutting-edge agricultural technologies and processes. During the visit, the students were introduced to Mitrasena's vision of non-toxic and climate-resilient agriculture, which is at the core of our mission. They were particularly interested in our innovative Microbes on Activated Carbon (MAC) technology, which has been a game-changer in enhancing the effectiveness and sustainability of biofertilizers. The students also learned about the comprehensive biofertilizers process and the rigorous quality control measures we implement to ensure the highest standards of product performance and safety. Krutika Jambhulkar from the Mitrasena team led the visit and did a fantastic job in explaining the technical aspects and the impact of our work. Her dedication and expertise were evident, and she effectively communicated the importance of our efforts in promoting sustainable agriculture. We extend our heartfelt thanks to Anup Bagade, HoD Biotechnology at Tulsiram Gaikwad Patil College, for appreciating MitraSena's work and organizing this visit. It was a great experience to interact with the young minds and future leaders in the field of biotechnology.
