AbstractAbstract
[en] The book deals with a wide range of problems related to plasma mathematical simulation. The role of numerical simulation methods at the present stage of investigations on the problem of controlled thermonuclear fusion is shown. Mathematical models of kinetic processes with Coulomb interaction, MHD processes, transport and hybrid models are discussed. The problems are formulated, numeracal methods of the solution of problems are considered. Much attention is given to the analysis of physical results obtained by means of mathematical simulation

AbstractAbstract
[en] Plasma heating in large tokamak installations of the 80's generation is analyzed on the basis of unidimensional equations of the energy balance. Typical measurements of the examined installations: R = 400 cm, a = 150 cm. ''Pseudoclassical'' and ''Bohm'' thermal conductivity models are used in the calculations. Plasma heating by injection of a beam of high-speed neutrals, cooling by the inflow of cold neutrals from vacuum, transfer of energy from particles to the plasma, and cyclotron emission and bremsstrahlung are also considered

AbstractAbstract
[en] Equilibrium is studied of axially symmetrical toroidal plasma filament with current along it inside of a finite conductivity casing, in the presence of a magnetic field produced by outer conductors. Solution is obtained by numerical integration of temporal equations of magnetic hydrodynamics. Equilibrium states in a sufficiently wide range of a plasma pressure variation are derived, and effects of the intensity and shape of outer confining field on plasma equilibrium are investigated. Formation of the plasma filament cross-section by outer magnetic fields is discussed

AbstractAbstract
[en] Calculations of the energy balance in the tokamak with injection of hot atom beams are carried out. Considered are atom ionization and capture of the produced ones as well as the transmission of energy to plasma. Energy losses on recharging are taken into account. Given are temperature dependencies on injection power, plasma density and other parameters. A possibility to obtain collisionless regime by ions is described

AbstractAbstract
[en] On the basis of one-dimensional equations for the energy balance plasma heating in large tokamaks of the 80 th generation has been analyzed. The typical dimensions of the installations under consideration are: major radius of the plasma torus R = 400 cm, minor radius of the plasma torus r = 150 cm. ''Pseudoclassical'' and ''Bohm'' models of thermal conductivity are used in calculations. Plasma heating by injection a neutral beam, cooling due to inflow of cold neutrals, transfer of alpha particle energy to plasma, cyclotron radiation and bremsstrahlung are taken into account

AbstractAbstract
[en] On the basis of one-dimensional equations of the energy balance, an analysis is made of the heating of plasma in large installations of the Tokamak type of the eightieth generation. Typical dimensions of the examined installations are: R = 400 cm, a = 150 cm. ''Pseudoclassical'' and ''Bomov'' models of thermal conductivity are used in the computations. Heating of plasma is taken into account with the aid of injection of a beam of fast neutral particles, cooled by an influx of cold neutral particles from vacuum, transfer of energy of α-particles to the plasma, and cyclotron radiation and bremsstrahlung

AbstractAbstract
[en] Computations of energy balance are presented for a tokamak with hot atom beam injection. Atom ionization, trapping of generated ions and energy transfer to plasma are examined. Energy loss in charge exchange is considered. Relationships are presented between the temperature and the injection power, the plasma density and other parameters. Possibilities are discussed for obtaining a collisionless ion regime
