[en] A wire spark chamber module with a small nonworking volume is described. The module is especially advantageous when there are some limitations on the chamber dimensions. The decrease in the chamber nonworking volume is achieved by reducing the plate width of the module. To compensate the decrease in the mechanical strength the prestressing of the module is used. The chamber with the dimensions 93 cm x 93 cm is fabricated, the electrode gap of the chamber is 1 cm, the module plate width is about 4 cm. It is shown that the plate width may be chosen as much as 2 or 3 cm for the same chamber dimensions

[en] Dibaryon resonances (B2) are supposed to be searched for, measuring effective mass (EM) of the pp-system in the p+d → ppπ± ps reaction at momentum 2 GeV/c using the 3-m spectrometer. Accuracy of EM measurement is 3-4 MeV with mass Mpp=2 GeV. A set of 5-7 thousands of events in a resonance at total number of triggers equalling 200 thousands per 100 hours of accelerated time if possible at proton beam intensity 105s-1, a dueterium target of 20 cm long, dead time of equipment 200 ms, adn accelerator utilization factor 0.5. Such statistics permits to determine the problem on existence of narrow B2 with mass ∼ 2 GeV and in their presence gives the possibility to determine their quantum number

[en] A 1024-channel time analyser with channel widths 0.2, 0.4, 0.8 and 1.6 μs (±0.1 μs) has been designed and built for work with a mechanical neutron chopper. Choice of the smallest channel width, 0.2 μs, was determined by the minimum duration of neutron pulses obtained with the mechanical chopper. A magnetic-drum memory system with a fast electrostatic temporary memory was employed. The data on the magnetic drum is recorded on an automatic register and on standard punched cards, which enable it to be handled in any computer. (author)

On a mis au point et construit un analyseur en temps a 1024 canaux de largeurs: 0,2, 0,4, 0,8 et 1,6, ±0,1 μs, permettant l'emploi d'un selecteur mecanique de neutrons. La largeur minimum des canaux, 0,2 μs, a ete choisie conformement a la duree minimum de l'impulsion neutronique provoquee par le selecteur mecanique. On a adopte un systeme de stockage sur tambour magnetique avec memoire preliminaire rapide a potentioscopes. Les donnees sont transferees du tambour magnetique a la bande d'un enregistreur automatique et sur des cartes perforees d'un modele courant qui permettent de les traiter a l'aide des calculatrices de tous modeles. Se ha disenado y construido un analizador de tiempo de 1024 canales, cuyas anchuras son (0,2; 0,4; 0,8; 1,6) ±0,1 μs; el aparato permite trabajar con un selector mecanico de neutrones. La anchura minima de los canales, a saber, 0,2 μs, se adopto en atencion a la duracion minima del impulso neutronico del selector mecanico. Se eligio un sistema de almacenamiento sobre tambor magnetico con memoria preliminar rapida a base de potencioscopos. Del tambor magnetico, los datos se transcriben a la cinta de un registrador automatico y a fichas perforadas de tipo corriente que permiten efectuar el analisis de los datos con cualquier maquina calculadora. [en] The inclusive cross section of the π-+p→π++all reaction is measured for the fragmentation range of an incident particle at 2.69 and 3.25 GeV/c. At 3.25 GeV/c dependences of the invariant cross section rho (x,psub(tr)sup(2)) on the square of transverse momentum psub(tr)sup(2) are obtained for the fixed intervals of the Feynman variable x. It has been found that rho(x,psub(tr)sup(2)) for 0.6(<=)x(<=)0.94 and psub(tr)sup(2)=0.03 (GeV/c)2 at 2.69 and 3.25 GeV/c coincide within the errors. The measured invariant cross section is compared with data obtained at higher energies. It is shown that, unlike the target fragmentation range, no scale invariance in this reaction is observed in the fragmentation range of the incident particle up to 11-16 GeV/c. If the invariant cross section is presented in the form of rho approximately exp [-A(x)xpsub(tr)sup(2)], the parameter A(x) appears to be equal for 3.25 and 16 GeV/c at 0.7(<=)x(<=)0.95
