AbstractAbstract
[en] Titanium- and erbium-containing optothermal fibre converters of laser radiation mounted at the distal end of quartz – quartz optical fibre are discussed for the first time. Technology of fabricating such converters is described. Carbon-containing converters are also considered. The laser heating dynamics of the converters and the glow spectra are studied by irradiating converters of each type by a 980 ± 10 nm semiconductor laser with an average power up to 4 W. It is shown that alongside with broadband thermal radiation accompanying the laser heating of all three types of converters in the temperature range 600 – 1100 °C, only in the spectrum of the erbium-containing converter the intense bands with the maxima at wavelengths 493, 523, 544, 660, and 798 nm, corresponding to the erbium radiative transitions 4F7/2 → 4I15/2, 2H11/2 → 4I15/2, 4S3/2 → 4I15/2, 4F9/2 → 4I15/2 and 4I9/2 → 4I15/2, respectively, are present. Such converters can be used in laser medicine for tissue surgery as well as in procedures combining laser, thermal, biostimulation or photodynamic action.

[en] Investigation results of interconnection between microstructure and superconducting characteristics of Nb-Ti-thin films with Ti content from 30 to 66 at. % are presented. For all the films investigated the mean grain size of 100-250 nm is characteristic. The density of the defects observed (the grain boundaries, deposition, dislocations) depends greatly on the sample composition. The structure of the films, deposited upon the copper sublayer, differ from the structure of films deposited upon silicon mainly by greater dislocation density (approximately by an order). In films with Ti content higher than 60 at. % separations of the α-Ti phase are observed (with the size of approximately 100 nm), which are in some triple points of the structure (in the junction of three boundaries of grains). Conclusion is made on the effect of the structure defects upon the pinning force

[en] Estimates are obtained of actual values of the superconductor rf parameters (surface resistance, penetration depth, and threshold amplitude of rf field) for the case of moderately strong pinning of vortices at frequencies of order 109 Hz and in a magnetic field Bapprox.1 T. Nb--Ti specimens with characteristic (''pinning'') frequency fp on the order of several GHz are obtained and investigated for the first time. [en] Uranium-238 films on substrates of various materials for targets in nuclear experiments have been produced. A strong influence of vacuum conditions over metal-physical properties of producing films has been defined. At vacuum 2.10-5 Tor the films on the basis of non-stoichiometric phase UO2 have been obtained. Vacuum improvement up 3.10-6 Tor promotes to forming the films crystallizing into α-U phase with a small content of UO2 phase. Heavy element presence in uranium films has not been observed

Es werden duenne Uranschichten auf Unterlagen verschiedenen Materials als Targets fuer kernphysikalische Experimente hergestellt. Ein starker Einfluss der Vakuum-Verhaeltnisse auf die metallphysikalischen Eigenschaften der Schichten wurde festgestellt. Bei einem Vakuum von 2,10-5 Torr wurden Schichten auf der Basis der nicht stoechiometrischen Phase UO2 erzeugt. Eine Verbesserung des Vakuums auf 3,10-6 Torr fuehrt zur Bildung von Schichten, die in der α-U Phase kristallisieren mit einem geringen Gehalt an UO2. Das Vorkommen schwerer Elemente in Uranschichten wurde nicht beobachtet. (orig.)Original Title
