Job Description: Accountant Company: Nandrlon Pharmaceutical Group Location: Erbil, Erbil Office Position Overview Nandrlon Pharmaceutical Group is looking for three skilled and detail-oriented Accountants to join our finance team in Erbil. The Accountants will handle essential financial tasks, including bookkeeping, transaction management, and compliance reporting, ensuring smooth financial operations and accuracy. Key Responsibilities Financial Records Management: Record daily financial transactions and ensure the accuracy of accounts. Maintain and update general ledger accounts. Accounts Payable and Receivable: Process invoices, payments, and reconciliations. Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding payments. Reporting and Analysis: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Assist in budget preparation and variance analysis. Compliance: Ensure compliance with local tax laws and regulations. Assist in preparing and submitting tax returns. Auditing and Internal Controls: Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation. Ensure adherence to internal financial controls and policies. Payroll Support: Assist in processing employee salaries and benefits. Maintain accurate payroll records. Qualifications Education: Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or a related field. Experience: At least 3 years of accounting experience in a similar role. Experience in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry is a plus. Skills: Strong knowledge of accounting principles and tax regulations. Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel. Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills. Attention to detail and accuracy. Language: Proficiency in Arabic and Kurdish; English is a plus. Benefits Competitive salary (negotiable based on experience and qualifications).
