At our CO₂ storage facility in Augusta, Sicily (IT), we conduct rigorous on #field and #laboratory #research to ensure the safety and stability of the marine environment. In the photos, Federico Comazzi our research chemist, measures temperature, pH and salinity to characterize seawater. He then analyzes samples taken from multiple locations in our facility to monitor the CO₂ storage process and verify its impact on seawater chemistry.
