With a € 2 million ticket, Fondazione Enea Tech e Biomedical, together with CDP Venture Capital SGR, Italian Angels for Growth - IAG, MM Partecipazioni, closes a €4 million investment round in Restorative Neurotechnologies S.r.l., a startup founded in 2018 as a spin-off of the University of Palermo, which develops medical devices, therapies and digital clinical protocols in the field of neurorehabilitation with non-invasive ways. MindLenses is a device for the treatment of cognitive deficits (characteristic of dyslexia, stroke, head injury) by non-invasive cognitive rehabilitation through the use of prismatic lenses and rehabilitation protocols based on Serious Game. Today, we are thrilled to announce the closing of our €3M Series A funding round led by CDP Venture Capital SGR and ENEA Tech e Biomedical. We’re proud to partner with these new and existing investors who share our commitment of delivering faster, more effective cognitive rehabilitation for those recovering from #stroke and to accompany the treatment of those suffering from #neurological disease thanks to the potential of our #DTx. We will use the proceeds to integrate MindLenses into European public healthcare systems, expand indications to additional conditions like Mild Cognitive Impairment and early dementia, and lunch #FDA submissions for U.S. entry as we also grow our distribution and reseller networks in Europe. Today, Massimiliano Oliveri, neurologist and our Chief Scientific Officer, previewed the results achieved from the use of our #DTx #MindLenses in the treatment of #MildCognitiveImpairment in a clinical study in collaboration with San Camillo IRCCS.
