🌍 Umwelt & Klima Preis 2023 für die Upcycling Convention Wir gratulieren unserem Mitglied Prof. Aart van Bezooijen herzlich zur Auszeichnung mit dem Umwelt & Klima Preis 2023 in der Kategorie „Projekte und Ideen “! 🎉 Der Umwelt & Klima Preis würdigt jährlich herausragende Projekte im Bereich Umweltschutz und Klimabewusstsein in Tirol und Südtirol. 2023 wurden 120 Bewerbungen eingereicht – davon 75 aus Südtirol. Die prämierte Upcycling Convention ist eine innovative Veranstaltung, die Upcycling und Wiederverwendung ins Zentrum der Aufmerksamkeit rückt. Sie umfasst Vorträge, Masterclasses, kreative Workshops sowie einen Markt für Secondhand- und Upcycling-Produkte. The Competence Centre for Economic, Ecological, and Social Sustainability, a multi-disciplinary and cross-faculty center of excellence at unibz, brings together professors and researchers from various fields to address pressing sustainability issues at the global and local level. The mission of the Competence Center is to contribute to and lead excellent research, engage in private and public partnerships and collaborations, and foster educational initiatives aimed at advancing sustainability efforts both in South Tyrol and beyond. Our core objective is to promote and accelerate the transition to a more sustainable South Tyrol.

Vielen Dank für die Einladung und den spannenden Austausch zur nachhaltigen Mobilität in Südtirol! 🌱🚍 Competence Centre for Economic, Ecological and Social Sustainability Free University of Bozen-Bolzano
Zum 20. Mal hat sich das Green-Mobility-Netzwerk getroffen - diesmal im NOI Techpark. Im Zentrum der Diskussion stand die Frage, wie Veränderungen im Mobilitätsverhalten erreicht werden können. Danke an Elisabeth Gsottbauer für viele wertvolle Anregungen, wie nachhaltiges Handeln gefördert werden kann. Gemeinsam mit Expertinnen von Eurac Research und Freie Universität Bozen haben wir uns außerdem angeschaut, welches Potential Rufbusse im ländlichen Raum haben. Per la 20ª volta si è riunita la rete Green Mobility, questa volta al NOI Techpark. Al centro della discussione la questione di come si possano ottenere cambiamenti nei comportamenti legati alla mobilità. Grazie a Elisabeth Gsottbauer per i preziosi spunti su come promuovere azioni sostenibili. Insieme agli esperti di Eurac Research e della Freie Universität Bozen abbiamo inoltre esaminato il potenziale dei bus a chiamata nelle aree rurali.

This week unibz hosted Tangible Utopias, a workshop signed by XYZ Cargo. MAMA!♡ had the opportunity and the pleasure to take part in the event to create furniture inspired by XYZ and using their techniques. The activity aimed not only to the understanding of a new building strategy but also to the creation of facilities for the students. The objective for the future is to create furnishing pieces for the material library of unibz! We wanted to thank XYZ Cargo and Libera Università di Bolzano for hosting the workshop, The whole team and participants had a blast! Stay tuned and follow us to find out what's happening next!
