veritree team has just come back from visiting our new mangrove restoration site in Tanzania to assess the progress and impact of our work. In just under three months since the project began, local communities have experienced noticeable improvements in access to food, financial resources, and income stability. While significant challenges remain, there's a growing sense of hope about the future benefits this project will bring to these areas. This visit reinforced the crucial role that social impact plays in ensuring the long-term sustainability of our restoration efforts. By measuring and monitoring not just the environmental but also the socio-economic benefits, we can better support the dedicated communities and planters driving these changes. Stay tuned for more updates as we continue to work towards a greener, more sustainable future! 🌱💚 #mangroverestoration #sustainability #communityimpact #restoration #socialimpact

On this special day, we shed light on the unsung heroes behind our mission. While our organization empowers women, it's the collective strength of both genders that drives our impact. These men, with their unwavering dedication, carry the weight of our vision, ensuring our forests flourish. We celebrate the balance of power, where every hand, regardless of gender, contributes to a greener tomorrow. Happy International Men's Day to our unsung heroes who carry the load (literally and figuratively). #togetherwearemakingadifference #sheliftsthespiritsheliftstheloads #MensDay #Reforestation #Empowerment #Teamwork #internationalmensday

This past weekend was nothing but amazing, we were honoured to showcase at Citam Karen the amazing #bambooartifacts that our team at shamakhokho has been creatively and lovingly putting together. Its amazing how fast they moved and how everyone was overjoyed with the products. . #Sustainability is the way to go. How about you turn your house into a #sustainablehousehold with the many products we Earthlungs Reforestation Foundation empower the #forestadjacentcommunities to create. From pots, honey and #bambooartifacts. And guess what every cent goes to supporting these communities. . It's not about what is planted, it's what survives! 🌳 Reforestation doesn’t end with planting—it’s just the beginning. Our veritree and tentree community is transforming philanthropic restoration, and forest monitoring to ensure every tree has the best chance to thrive.🎉 With over 100 million trees in the ground, we've developed new, scalable methods for conducting survivability plots using advanced technology like 3D modeling and AI survival audits. This allows us to assess tree health, spacing, and even age, creating a more complete picture of forest restoration. Everything we do is based on simplicity, trust, and transparency. We are not just planting trees. We are growing forests.

This is not a beach. It is a degraded mangrove landscape. After visiting the Tanzanian and Kenyan mangroves, I’m grateful to the communities and teams on the ground working tirelessly to restore the East African coastline. Collaborating to design impact measurement systems is the most rewarding part of my job. Meeting with the dedicated teams is a reminder of the central role social impact must play in every restoration project to ensure long-term sustainability. veritree, Earthlungs Reforestation Foundation Victor Mwanga, Edwin Manegene

Take a look at this 3D model of one of our mangrove sites 🌱 Why do we create these models? At veritree, we apply 360-degree reproductions to our AI and machine-learning models to identify living saplings from dead ones. This approach boosts the efficiency of our survivability checks, ensuring healthier and thriving ecosystems.
