About us

Established in 2012, SustaiNet Group is headquartered in Nairobi, Kenya and operates a Country Office in Kampala, Uganda. We offer consulting services to facilitate effective agricultural market-oriented and private sector-led development; resilience building in dry-land areas, delivery of environmental and climate services; entrepreneurship and employment opportunities for youth and women, and; transparent sector policy and planning, stakeholder inclusion and institutional capacity development. As part of our compliance and operational support business area, we provide logistic, event management, HR, finance and other management ‘outsourcing’ services to international consulting companies exploring opportunities and implementing projects and programmes in the region. We also operate the Shiriki House Office Community to offer an effective and collaborative co-working environment for development companies, projects and NGOs sharing our desire to foster commercially viable, environmentally resilient and socially inclusive rural development.

In collaboration with GIZ, we're focusing on the "Promotion of Climate-Resilient Agricultural Value Chains". 🗓 Project Duration: 01.12.2024 to 31.10.2027   📍 Location: South Sudan   💼 Position Duration: 30 months   📅 Application Deadline: 23.08.2024 🔍 About the Project: This project aims to enhance the implementation of community-driven, income-generating, and risk-informed rural development measures in South Sudan. The primary focus is to strengthen the participatory planning and implementation capacities of subnational administrative and civil society actors, improve demand-driven supply of inputs and services, and promote strategic learning experiences on socio-economic development. Key Work Packages: 1. Value Chain/Commodity Analysis: Analyze up to 5 agricultural commodities to support the maximum number of beneficiaries. 2. Strengthening MSMEs: Empower micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) offering inputs and services to smallholder farmers, alongside training to boost productivity and quality. 3.
