About us
Kenya Innovation Week is a flagship innovation forum for the country run by the Kenya National Innovation Agency. It seeks to showcase the innovativeness of Kenyans under which the national priorities of the Big 4 Agenda and Vision 2030 will be advanced. It will champion relevant policy engagements on innovations within institutions while promoting practical skills necessary to create innovations that impact people. In addition, Kenya Innovation Week will strengthen the research and commercialisation practices for greater socio-economic impact. To achieve its objectives, Kenya Innovation Week 2021 will convene the local governments, private sector, development partners, media and civil society to capitalize in as much shared value as possible.

The session on leveraging local corporate financing and funding mechanisms to sustain Startups highlighted that local corporate-sponsored grant partnerships with local financial institutions are available as alternative funding routes. The solution is to understand the gap, innovate solutions that solve it, and partner with organisations that are complementary or aligned to your goals to maintain originality even in the ecosystem formed. #KIW2024 #KIWAfricaEdition #StartupSummit East Africa Private Equity & Venture Capital Association (EAVCA) Heifer International Kenya Jasiri4Africa UK-Kenya Tech Hub Wavumbuzi Entrepreneurship Challenge Africa Konza Technopolis Ministry of Youth Affairs, Sports and The Arts Ministry of Information, Communications and The Digital Economy AfriNext Ventures
