About us

For more than a quarter of a century, Topaz Restaurant has been a landmark for French fine-dining in the heart of Phnom Penh. A full-service restaurant, Topaz has become a staple to where discerning upper-class diners celebrate time-honoured traditions gastronomy in a stylish, contemporary setting with elegant yet familiar, French flavors. These “mets” accompanied by a vast selection of wines, spirits and cocktails most of which are imported from various locations around the world. Topaz is about celebrating the classical traditions that underpin one of the most famous cuisines in the world. We do this by honoring those ideals with two important principles: - First, everything starts with quality products. We purchase the best ingredients we can find. This is why we source premium ingredients from leading reputable producers and suppliers with whom we build enduring relationships that span the globe from France to Cambodia. - Second, we develop the skills set of our teammates responsible in the transformation and service of these products. As we leave nothing to chance, we invest as much time and energy into constantly improving the capacities and craftmanship of our colleagues, some of whom have been with us from the very first day Topaz opened its doors. Three to four times a year, guest Michelin-starred chefs come to celebrate with Topaz culinary and service team. By taking time out of their busy schedules these master-chefs contribute to elevate our culinary skills because, like us, they believe in the life-nourishing value of discovery and self-improvement.
