In farming, land preparation is very important. Land preparation is the process of clearing and loosening soil to prepare it for growing crops. It's one of the first steps in the crop production cycle. *************************************** Land preparation releases nutrients into the soil, improves water and air movement, and loosens the soil for root growth Reduces weeds and pests. It buries weeds and the remains of previous crops, which helps them break down and decay prevents soil erosion. Land preparation helps ensure good germination of seeds. #WASUDEVempowers #womenfarmers

It was such a colorful ceremony as we witnessed the graduation ceremony of rural women who have completed basic literacy and numeracy skills training. These are essential skills needed to improve women's confidence and access to livelihood. These women are resilient and has strong will power to become the very best version of themselves 💪. Many thanks to Madam Victoria Torlon Quoiquoi who gave a motivational message during this program. Our new grad, Macy T.S Wilson T. S. Wilson also encouraged the women to keep pushing. Many thanks to The Kvinna till Kvinna Foundation and Embassy of Sweden in Monrovia for supporting this project. #wasudevempowers #womenfarmers #follower

It is the festive season and it's a big deal in Liberia. Especially Christmas Day! During this time, people cook special and delicious meals, buy new things especially clothes for their kids and themselves to wear on that day. Most times due to financial constraints, parents are unable to do this ritual. But with our Village Saving and Loan Association (VSLA) schemes, our women and their families are able to get new things for the season. ********************************************** This brings us so much joy 😊 ********************************************* What contributions are you making in your communities 🤔 How are you impacting people's lives positively 🤔 ******************************************* These are questions we often ask ourselves as we work towards our organisation's mission and vision. Today, we joined the #Weareunprotectedcampaign and Sister AID Liberia INC to climax the 16 days of Activism Against Gender Based Violence against women and girls. We shared stories of our struggles as women and lighted candles in memories of survivors and those who lost their lives to Gender-based violence. Sister AID Liberia screened a video documentary of women's struggle for political participation in Liberia. Let's unite to end violence against women and girls. #16DaysOfActivism

We are participating in the National Agriculture Trade Fair. Not just attending but, WASUDEV is a member of the Mobilization and the Resolution committees. Our goal of taking on these roles is to ensure the effective inclusion of women farmers issues. Today, the farmers Conference was held. During the conference, critical issues concerning farmers were discussed and a great resolution was drafted. We also made some sales 💃 💃 Please come out tomorrow to support our organisation. It is through the contributions of these sales that we sustain our organisation's operations. Thanks to those who passed by our booth today and purchased 🙌 #wasudevempowers #womenfarmers The Kvinna till Kvinna Foundation
