“I am always on time. So, I am not indisciplined when it comes to my films, but in my life, I am,” Aamir confessed during their conversation, shared on Zee Music Company's YouTube channel.

Battling Bad Habits

Aamir opened up about his past struggles with excessive drinking. “Now I have quit drinking, but at one point, I used to drink. And when I used to drink, I would drink all night,” he said. He also revealed that he continues to smoke a pipe.

Calling himself an "extremist," Aamir admitted that his habits often spiral out of control. “The problem is that I am an extremist man, so I continue to do what I am already doing. It’s not a good thing, and I realise that. I also know that I am doing the wrong thing, but I can’t stop myself,” he explained.

Despite his personal struggles, Aamir emphasized that filmmaking brings out the best in him. “When I’m working on a film, I’m sharply disciplined,” he said. Nana Patekar suggested that Aamir should stay consistently involved in projects, to which the actor agreed. “I have thought that I will do one film a year now because otherwise, I do one film in three years,” he added.

Exciting Projects Ahead

Aamir has several films lined up, showcasing his commitment to staying active in the industry. He is currently working on Sitaare Zameen Par, a thematic sequel to the 2007 classic Taare Zameen Par, featuring Darsheel Safary and Genelia Deshmukh.
