🌟 When we at the ABURY Foundation first thought about education, we focused on the basics—reading, writing, languages, and math. But along the way, we learned soft skills are just as critical, if not more so. Developed by Project Soar and their visionary founder Maryam Montague in Morocco, we’re proud to support a transformative program designed to empower teenage girls in five key areas: 🔅 Value - Self-esteem - she knows she is as valuable as a boy. 🔅 Voice - She communicates her thoughts and advocates for herself and others. 🔅 Body - She values her own health and wellbeing. 🔅 Rights - She embraces her right to an education and understands her right to be free from violence, sexual harassment, and early and forced marriage. 🔅 Path - She cares about her education and has tools to envision her future. These modules go beyond academics, equipping girls with the self-confidence, knowledge of their rights, and a vision for their future. Why is this so important? Because confident young girls who know their worth grow into empowered women—women who stand up for themselves, lead with purpose, and inspire change. This is particularly crucial in a context where approximately 70% of women in Morocco still face domestic violence. Self-worth isn’t just a personal trait—it’s a foundation for equality, resilience, and leadership. 💪 Let’s continue to invest in programs that shape future women leaders and create a world where every girl knows her value. #GirlsEmpowerment #SoftSkillsMatter #ProjectSoar #LeadershipDevelopment #EndDomesticViolence #EducationForChange
