     Mary Carey was the daughter of Colonel Ferdinand Carey and Philippa Throckmorton.^1,2 She married Sir Alexander Fraser, 1st Bt., son of Adam Fraser, after 1659.² She died circa December 1695.²
     From after 1659, her married name became Fraser.¹

     Margaret Smith was the daughter of Sir Thomas Smith.¹ She married, firstly, Hon. Thomas Carey, son of Robert Carey, 1st Earl of Monmouth and Elizabeth Trevannion. She married, secondly, Edward Herbert, son of Charles Herbert.² She died after 1648.²

     He fought in the English Civil War, in Scotland, as a Royalist.³ He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Forbes, of Castle Forbes, Co. Longford, Ireland [N.S., 1628] on 14 April 1652.³ He held the office of Commissioner of the Court of Claims [Ireland] in 1661.³ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for County Tyrone [Ireland] between 1661 and 1666.³ He was appointed Privy Counsellor (P.C.) [Ireland] in 1670.³ He held the office of Marshal of the Army [Ireland] between 1670 and 1684.³ He held the office of a Lord of Justice [Ireland] in 1671.³ He held the office of a Lord of Justice [Ireland] from 1675 to 1676.³ He succeeded as the 1st Baron Clanehugh, co. Longford [Ireland] on 22 November 1675.³ He was created 1st Viscount of Granard, co.      Catherine Newcomen was the daughter of Sir Robert Newcomen, 4th Bt. and Anne Boleyn.¹ She married, firstly, Sir Alexander Stewart, 2nd Bt., son of Sir William Stewart, 1st Bt. and Frances Newcomen, circa 1648.² She married, secondly, Arthur Forbes, 1st Earl of Granard, son of Sir Arthur Forbes, 1st Bt. and Jane Lauder, circa 1655.³ She died on 8 December 1714 at Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland^G.¹
     From circa 1648, her married name became Stewart. From circa 1655, her married name became Forbes.¹ After her marriage, Catherine Newcomen was styled as Viscountess of Granard on 22 November 1675. After her marriage, Catherine Newcomen was styled as Countess of Granard on 30 December 1684.

     Sir Robert Newcomen, 4th Bt. was the son of Sir Robert Newcomen, 1st Bt. and Catherine Molyneux.² He married, firstly, Anne Boleyn. He died on 12 August 1677.³
     He succeeded as the 4th Baronet Newcomen, of Kenagh, co. Longford [I., 1623] on 29 April 1642.

     Anne Boleyn married Sir Robert Newcomen, 4th Bt., son of Sir Robert Newcomen, 1st Bt. and Catherine Molyneux.
     Her married name became Newcomen.¹

     Hon. Dorothy Conway was the daughter of Edward Conway, 2nd Viscount Conway of Conway Castle and Frances Popham.^1,3 She married Sir George Rawdon, 1st Bt., son of Francis Rawdon and Dorothy Aldborough, in September 1654.⁴ She died in 1665.²
     From September 1654, her married name became Rawdon.¹

     Edward Conway, 2nd Viscount Conway of Conway Castle was baptised on 10 August 1594.² He was the son of Edward Conway, 1st Viscount Conway of Conway Castle and Dorothy Tracy.² He married Frances Popham, daughter of Sir Francis Popham and Ann Gardiner Dudley, circa October 1621.³ He died on 26 June 1655 at age 60 at Lyon, France^G.³
     He gained the title of 2nd Viscount Conway of Conway Castle.
