     Arthur Saunders Gore was born on 6 December 1848.1 He was the son of Venerable John Ribton Gore and Frances Brabazon Ellard.1 He married, firstly, Frances Elizabeth Fraser, daughter of William Fraser, on 26 September 1878.1 He married, secondly, Elizabeth Baldwin, daughter of James Baldwin, on 23 November 1881.1 He died on 24 January 1901 at age 52.1

Frances Elizabeth Fraser1

     Frances Elizabeth Fraser was the daughter of William Fraser.1 She married Arthur Saunders Gore, son of Venerable John Ribton Gore and Frances Brabazon Ellard, on 26 September 1878.1 She died in 1879, without issue.1
     From 26 September 1878, her married name became Gore.1

     Lt.-Col. Ribton Gore was born on 12 March 1852.1 He was the son of Venerable John Ribton Gore and Frances Brabazon Ellard.1 He married Ada Sophia Dendy, daughter of Robert Dendy, on 24 November 1881.1 He died on 28 September 1924 at age 72.1
     He gained the rank of Major in the 1st Battalion, Royal Sussex Regiment.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the Reserve Officers.1

     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, EnglandG.2 He was educated at Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, EnglandG.2 He fought in the Second World War, where he was mentioned in despatches.2 He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the General List.2 He was Assistant Military Secretary to Commander 2nd Army between 1944 and 1945.2 He was appointed Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.) in 1945.2 He was director of W. H. Smith & Son (Hldgs) and W. H. Smith & Son Ltd.2

David John Smith was born on 20 May 1907.1 He was the son of William Frederick Danvers Smith, 2nd Viscount Hambleden and Lady Esther Georgiana Caroline Gore.2 He married Lady Helen Pleydell-Bouverie, daughter of Jacob Pleydell-Bouverie, 6th Earl of Radnor and Julian Eleanor Adelaide Balfour, on 22 July 1931.1 He died on 25 November 1976 at age 69.1
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, EnglandG.1 He was educated at Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, EnglandG.1 He fought in the Second World War.1 He gained the rank of Major in the Royal Artillery (TA.)1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Berkshire in 1946.1 He held the office of Lord-Lieutenant of Berkshire between 1959 and 1976.1 He was appointed Commander, Order of the British Empire (C.B.E.) in 1964.1 He was director of W.      Hon. Edith Mabell Emily Smith also went by the nick-name of Dede.1

Hon. Margaret Esther Lucie Smith

     Hon. Margaret Esther Lucie Smith was born on 1 August 1908.1 She was the daughter of William Frederick Danvers Smith, 2nd Viscount Hambleden and Lady Esther Georgiana Caroline Gore.2 She married Major John Granville Morrison, 1st Baron Margadale, son of Hugh Morrison and Lady Sophia Castelia Mary Leveson-Gower, on 16 October 1928.1 She died in 1980.1
     Her married name became Morrison. She held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Wiltshire in 1943.1 After her marriage, Hon. Margaret Esther Lucie Smith was styled as Baroness Margadale on 1 January 1965.
