     Richard Beard was born circa 1758.¹ He was the son of Philip Beard and Mary Berry.¹ He married Ann Avens.¹ He died in 1823.¹

     Philip Yorke, Viscount Royston was born on 7 May 1784.¹ He was the son of Philip Yorke, 3rd Earl of Hardwicke and Lady Elizabeth Scot Lindsay.^2,1
     He was styled as Viscount Royston between 1796 and 1808.¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Reigate between 1806 and 1808.¹ On 7 April 1808 lost in a storm off Lubeck.¹
