     Arthur Davenport Bateman-Hanbury was born on 7 October 1867.² He was the son of Reverend Hon. Arthur Allen Bateman-Hanbury and Mary Ward Davenport.¹ He married Nina Louisa Mary Ellice, daughter of Lt.-Gen. Sir Charles Henry Ellice and Louisa Caroline Lambton, on 25 April 1893.² He died on 8 December 1925 at age 58, without issue.²
