     Georgiana Matilda Stirling was the daughter of Sir Walter Stirling of Faskine, 1st Bt. and Susannah Goodenough.1,2 She married, firstly, Henry Davidson Milligan, son of Robert Milligan and Jean Dunbar, on 3 August 1816 at St. James, Westminster, London, England.1,3 She married, secondly, Sir Thomas Barrett-Lennard, 1st Bt., son of Thomas Barrett-Lennard, 17th Lord Dacre and unknown Fitzthomas, on 20 June 1833.1 She died on 7 May 1873.1
     From 3 August 1816, her married name became Milligan.1 Her married name became Barrett-Lennard.

Sir Walter Stirling of Faskine, 1st Bt.1

     Sir Walter Stirling of Faskine, 1st Bt. was born on 24 June 1758.2 He was the son of Captain Sir Walter Stirling of Faskine and Dorothy Willing.2 He married Susannah Goodenough, daughter of George T. Goodenough, on 28 April 1794.2 He died on 25 August 1832 at age 74.2
     He was created 1st Baronet Stirling, of Faskine [U.K.] on 15 December 1800.1 He was appointed Fellow, Royal Society (F.R.S.)2 He was appointed Fellow, Society of Antiquaries (F.S.A.)2 He held the office of High Sheriff of Kent in 1804.2 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Gatton and St. Ives.2

     John Erskine, 9th of Dun was the son of John Erskine, 8th of Dun and Margaret Keith.1 He married Magdalen Halyburton, daughter of James Halyburton of Thorngreen and Margaret Scrymgeour.2 He died in 1610.1

     Walter James Barrett-Lennard was born on 1 April 1835.1 He was the son of Sir Thomas Barrett-Lennard, 1st Bt. and Georgiana Matilda Stirling.1 He married Caroline Dormer, daughter of Samuel Dormer, on 18 February 1854.1 He died on 6 June 1899 at age 64.1
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the 16th Lancers.1

     Thomas Barrett-Lennard was born on 4 October 1788.1 He was the son of Sir Thomas Barrett-Lennard, 1st Bt. and Dorothy St. Aubyn.1 He married, firstly, Margaret Wharton, daughter of John Wharton and Susan Mary Anne Lambton, on 3 August 1815.1 He married, secondly, Mary Shedden, daughter of Bartlett Bridger Shedden, on 30 June 1825.1 He died on 9 June 1856 at age 67.1
     He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Maldon.1
