🤝 Residency Malta is supporting environmental NGO Żibel as part of the Agency’s commitment towards impactful social projects. ♻️Part of Żibel’s mission is to collect and recycle discarded fishing nets from the sea that cause significant marine pollution. However, before the recycling process can start, this plastic waste contaminated by organic matter, oil and other pollutants must undergo a critical cleaning process. 🌱Residency Malta is supporting this essential stage in the recycling operation, with funds channelled for the purchase of equipment that will make this laborious and extremely dirty process easier, faster and more efficient, ultimately producing higher quality recycled products with lower maintenance costs. 🌊🚶♂️💪 An Unforgettable Clean-Up with Scouts Malta! 💪🚶♂️🌊 Huge respect to the 70 Scouts Malta volunteers who joined us for an adventurous clean-up at Majjistral Nature & History Park!🍃 🪨 These true troopers didn’t just hike a challenging 40 minutes to the site—they also braved a cliff descent to reach the sea, where a variety of marine litter awaited🌊 From washed-up sunbeds and huge buoys to toilet seats, ropes, and fishing lines, they tackled every piece with determination. 💪🪢 Together, they worked on this tough terrain right until sunset, showing exactly what “It starts with you” really means! 🌅👏 A massive thank you to each scout for setting an example of commitment to our environment.👬👏🌿
