MAIA was delighted to organize a briefing session at Rafflesia Private Lounge, Skypark RAC, attended by our esteemed members. The first session was an update on Malaysian Aerospace Welding Training Capability by the Regional Director of American Welding Society Mr Steve Snyder. He briefed on the overview of the American Welding Society and its collaborative work in Malaysia, AWS certifications and accreditation as well as AWSD17 series of specifications for aerospace welding.   Session 2 was presented by Mr Anthony Lim, Sales Director of Aviation Week ASEAN, on the data for available airframe, engine and landing gear opportunities over the next 12-to-36-month period, details of the MROs contract details, job scopes, category by ATA chapter and current news in the MRO supply chain.
