Basic Information Hui'an Temple is located in Shanshan, Shengzhou. It was built in the second year of the Yixi period of the Eastern Jin Dynasty (406 AD), about 1,600 years ago, and has undergone several name changes and reconstructions. History The temple was founded by two eminent monks, Daoshen and Zhu Fayu, during the Eastern Jin Dynasty and was originally called "Prajna Terrace Temple". Zhu Fayu read through 120 volumes of the "Abhidharma" in one night.
