🎉 We are thrilled to announce the successful conclusion of the 11th edition of RES4Africa’s #ExecutiveSchool! 👷🏾♀️👷🏾♂️ Investing in people is essential for Africa’s energy transition. Building an experienced local workforce and well-prepared managerial talent fosters local ownership, job creation, and a sustainable future. To drive this vision forward, our #ExecutiveSchool provided in-depth training for 40 high-level participants from 16 African countries, each selected and granted a full scholarship. 🌍🌱 This 11th edition, supported by Enel Foundation, Ministero degli Affari Esteri e della Cooperazione Internazionale, and the European Investment Bank (EIB), was held in partnership with Politecnico di Milano Graduate School of Management and SDA Bocconi School of Management. Over two weeks, from 25th November to 6th December, the participants explored critical topics shaping Africa’s renewable energy landscape, including energy economics, auctions, grid integration, and project finance. The training also featured valuable site visits, including the Nidec Conversion, Prysmian, CESI SpA and ABB Dalmine facilities, offering hands-on insights into power quality, storage, and innovative energy technologies. ⚡️💡 The Executive School was also the occasion for Roberto Vigotti, RES4Africa's Secretary General, to present the new Policy Paper issued by RES4Africa on Scaling up sustainable electrification in Africa and with Africa.
