At the AI Action Summit on February 10 and 11, 2025, Emmanuel Macron unveiled the strengths and attractiveness of the French technology ecosystem, as well as the main thrusts of the national plan to raise France to 3rd place worldwide in #ArtificialIntelligence. 🏆 Building on an ambitious national strategy initiated and carried forward since 2017, France benefits from a remarkable innovation dynamic with more than 1,000 companies, numerous unicorns, significant fundraising and an AI hub covering the entire value chain. 💡 The country also thrives with exceptional talent and an attractive ecosystem. Furthermore, France is particularly tailor-made to the establishment of infrastructures dedicated to AI, thanks to abundant, decarbonized energy, strategic geographic positioning, and land suitable for data center projects. 35 areas ready for data center construction have been mapped. 💰 Finally, historic investments of 109 billion euros were announced for the development of infrastructure projects and their deployment in France by French and foreign companies.

#France continues to strengthen its commitment to #Nigeria’s development through the Agence Française de Développement (AFD), with a substantial €3 billion investment planned over the coming years. Notably, €1 billion will be dedicated to engineering and civil works, creating significant opportunities for collaboration. This policy shift presents a unique avenue for French and Nigerian businesses to form strategic partnerships and successfully bid for AFD-funded tenders. To explore these opportunities, the #FrenchEmbassyinNigeria, Agence Française de Développement (AFD), the Franco-Nigerian Chamber of Commerce & Industry (FNCCI), the #FranceNigerianBusinessCouncil (FNBC) and Business France Nigeria, invite you to an exclusive workshop on AFD-financed projects in Nigeria. 📅 March 4, 2025 🕚 10:00 AM 📍 Alliance Française de Lagos – Mike Adenuga Centre Multinationals in the relevant sector can attend by emailing directeur@france-nigeria.org, or filling the interest form; https://lnkd.in/dQPgRe2e #afd #partnership #france #nigeria
