🆘️ “When a woman is trapped in an abusive situation, she needs help so she can crawl out of it" - Dike Chukwumerije 🎙Let's throw it back to the Womanity Index launch where Dike Chukwumerije delivered a thought-provoking spoken word performance that captured the struggles faced by women and girls in a patriarchal world. Through his powerful presentation, Dike explored themes like sexual harassment, early marriage, and physical violence—highlighting the dangers that women endure in a society where discrimination is often normalized. ❗️He concluded with a compelling call to action, reminding every stakeholder and institution of the age-long proverbial adage: It takes a village to raise a child. He urged us to create a village that is not only nurturing but also safe—a village that ensures the safety of every woman.
