How many collaborations can be built in just one week? 🤝 🚀 Two weeks ago, the SAIS Investment Readiness Programme, together with the inspiring founders Ebun Feludu, Rosalia Ayugi, and Priscilla W., had an incredible time in Berlin. We started the week by meeting key stakeholders—investors, accelerators, and industry experts—exploring opportunities to scale innovative agribusinesses. From insightful discussions on funding and market entry to hands-on experiences with sustainable food systems, these meetings opened doors to exciting collaborations. 🌱 We wrapped up our time in Berlin at #GreenWeek, where our founders took part in panel discussions with policymakers, including State Secretary Dr. Bärbel Kofler, and other inspiring guests. Topics ranged from agricultural innovation to fair supply chains and female empowerment, highlighting the crucial role that African agripreneurs play in shaping a more sustainable food system. A big thank you to Grace - Accelerate Female Entrepreneurship, FoodLabs, Impact Hub Berlin, ECF Farmsystems, EarthMates and FoodTogether for welcoming us and your generosity in sharing knowledge and opening doors. Let’s continue building a strong ecosystem where impactful entrepreneurs can thrive. This is just the beginning—let’s keep the momentum going! 🌍🚀 #Berlin #Collaboration #Networking #AgriInnovation #AfricanStartups

WHAT A WEEK 🌱🚀 Last week, I had the honor of being in Berlin with the incredible founders Ebun Feludu, Rosalia Ayugi and Priscilla W.. At the #GreenWeek, the founders were able to present their business ideas and made an important contribution to panel discussions on agricultural innovations, sustainable supply chains, and female empowerment. I’m sure that not only I, but also everyone present, was deeply enriched by the sharing of your diverse perspectives. 💡 It was also amazing to meet with numerous stakeholders and to see how quickly synergies and potential partnerships can be formed in just one week. I hope these discussions continue to bear fruit. I’ve learned so much from all of you, and I’m incredibly grateful for this shared journey! 🙏🏼 A special thanks to: - Asma Gammoudi & Lena Bumke who welcomed us at Grace Accelerator. - Nicolaus Norden & Kerstin Sandow who introduced us to the work of FoodLabs. - Stephanie Ries & Idil Serifoglu with whom we explored collaboration opportunities at Impact Hub Berlin. - Jan Konopka who showed us the impressive ECF Farmsystems facilities. - Marco M. with whom we exchanged ideas about investor networks. - Felix Grünziger who gave us an introduction to the German retail sector and the work of FoodTogether. It started with coconuts, but people are the fulcrum that give me velocity. People are the reason I stay up at night and drive hard in the morning. My Yorùbá people say Ènìyàn laso mi (translation, I am robed in the wealth of love of people). Above all else, I desire to be used by God through Kokari to do good for People and Planet; and to be a worthy custodian of the resources on this earth to make the impact that is on my heart.
