Non ho mai scritto un post come questo. Ma oggi voglio condividere una causa che mi sta particolarmente a cuore. Sostengo da qualche tempo la Love Melody Orphanage & Charity Foundation, un’associazione indipendente che aiuta bambini orfani in Nigeria. Dietro questa organizzazione c'è una ragazza straordinaria, lei stessa un'orfana che ha deciso di dedicare la sua vita a questi bambini. In questo momento, serve raccogliere 1000$ entro la fine del mese per rinnovare il contratto della casa che ospita questi bambini. Hanno già raccolto 400$, ma mancano ancora 600$ per raggiungere l’obiettivo. Perché li sostengo? Perché ho visto in loro qualcosa di unico: autenticità, passione e una missione chiara. Growing up as an orphan, I often watched from a distance as other children received new clothes, shoes, toys, and gifts from their parents during the holiday season. Those moments, filled with joy and togetherness, emphasized my feelings of sadness and loneliness because I didn’t have parents to share those moments with, and it felt like a nightmare. Beyond the gifts, orphans need the basics clothes, shoes, and nourishing food to survive.
