  • Our MD/CEO joined His Excellency, Engr. Abdullahi A. Sule, the Governor of Nasarawa State, for a meeting in Lagos State with officials from JBS SA, a Brazilian company founded in 1953 and headquartered in São Paulo, Brazil. JBS SA is recognized as the world's largest producer of protein products and is reported to supply 50 percent of the beef consumed in the United States of America. The governor was one of only three governors invited to the meeting, a reflection of Nasarawa State’s strong track record in agricultural production. The Brazilian company has expressed interest in establishing six meat processing facilities in Nigeria, and according to the Nigerian Investment Promotion Commission (NIPC), a letter of intent has already been signed. The convivial meeting, held at Eko Atlantic, attracted top investors, captains of industry, legislators, and other high-ranking government officials. In remarks following the meeting, Governor Abdullahi Sule stated, “Our dear Nasarawa is open to partnership with genuine investors from across the globe to bring development, wealth, and prosperity to our people.” Nasarawa State has continued to receive accolades for its significant achievements, particularly in agriculture, mining, infrastructure development, and human capital development, with its skills acquisition centre ranked among the best in the country. #Partnerships #Collaborations #Investments #Engagement #Agriculture #Infrastructure #Growth #Development

His Excellency, Engr. Abdullahi A. Sule, the Governor of Nasarawa State, performed the groundbreaking ceremony for the second Nasarawa State Multi-Door Court House, today in Karu local government area of the state. This significant development marks a pivotal step in enhancing the state’s business environment as the court is designed to serve as an alternative dispute resolution (ADR) mechanism, particularly focusing on commercial disputes. By providing a structured platform for resolving disputes outside the traditional court setting, the Multi-Door Court House aims to streamline processes, reduce litigation time, and promote a more amicable resolution of differences among businesses. The initiative is part of the state government's broader strategy to improve the Ease of Doing Business in Nasarawa State as the state hopes to attract more investments, foster entrepreneurship, and create a conducive environment for businesses to thrive.
