A lack of iron in the diet can lead to reduced hemoglobin levels, resulting in iron-deficiency anaemia. - Vitamin B12 and Folic Acid Deficiency Anaemia: Vitamin B12 and folic acid are vital for the production of red blood cells. Deficiencies in either can lead to decreased red blood cell production.
