About us
YTOP Global (an acronym for Young, Talented, Optimistic, and full of Potential) is a youth-led non-governmental organization passionate about developing the competence of youths to make a sustainable impact geared towards SDG solutions. She registered as a corporate body under the Corporate Affairs Commission as YTOP YOUTH EMPOWERMENT FOUNDATION with the Registration Code: RC179444. She operates in about 16 institutions, with its base at the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Nigeria. As an organization, we believe everyone has talents and is filled with potential. Goals will be easily achieved if given a platform to learn, share, collaborate, and explore. The organization was founded in 2015 by Ekundayo Oluwadamilare to influence teenagers and youths positively, enhance self- and purpose-discovery, and channel discovered abilities into proper and efficient use. Our vision from the onset has been to have a global community of great minds who see beyond the challenges around them and collaborate to create effective change toward ensuring the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals. We create platforms where young people can access equal skill opportunities through quality engagement in self-discovery, personal and professional development, skill acquisition, and collaboration to develop sustainable solutions in their communities.
