What a year for the #CreativeEconomyPracticeatCcHUB! From milestones like Amplifying African Voices, Afropolis Lagos Festival, and Creative Convos to transformative programs such as the Entertainment and Media Hubs, #FashionomicsIncubatorandAccelerator, and the #LagosxParis Accelerator, 2024 has been truly inspiring. The launch of the #CEPEntertainmentHub in Nairobi and the upcoming hub in Lagos marked new beginnings for African storytellers. Together, we have amplified voices, tackled challenges, and reshaped narratives for a thriving creative economy. A heartfelt THANK YOU for being part of this incredible journey. Here's to celebrating 2024 and embracing an even brighter 2025.

Met with senior members of the Kenya film industry at the sidelines of a grand launch of Co-creation HUB (CcHUB) in Nairobi. The honourable members discussed the various positive progress in the Kenya film industry especially on the leaps and bounds achieved in the area of Story telling. Indeed the democratization and devolution of the distribution of film in Kenya has seen film makers reach an unprecedented number of Kenyan audiences for the new films. Kenyan now holds the record for the largest film premiere in Africa by numbers of tickets sold standing at 6000. The cords of Collaboration, patriotism, creativity and good business strategies were identified as the key levers to take the Kenyan film industry to expand and explore opportunities to build audiences in the wider East Africa with its population of about 400Million. The upstanding member, in the image proposed a collaborative model which was seconded and accepted for 2025. The Creative Economy Ambassador will take up the challenge of crafting the path to film projects that will include other diverse creative industries. 2025 shall be a good year for film in Kenya.
