The festival season has started again! 🎊 I recently came across an article from NOS that really resonated with me. As festivals gain popularity this year, they also seem to be getting more expensive. One contributing factor is the increasing difficulty and cost of hiring personnel. In fact, tickets for these events can now soar to over 300 euros! Not long ago, my friends and I used to eagerly plan which festivals to attend each year. However, with these skyrocketing prices, our beloved "festival season" feels more constrained than ever before. Interestingly, despite the rising ticket prices, event organizers are finding themselves with smaller profit margins. How did we end up in a situation where both sides are losing out? That's where AIR Robotica steps in. We've developed a management system designed to tackle the personnel shortage while also helping organizers expand their profit margins, ultimately leading to more affordable ticket prices. As society increasingly values experiences over material possessions, the demand for events continues to grow, even as prices rise. At AIR, our goal is to ensure that everyone has the opportunity to enjoy these events in a safe, affordable, and entertaining manner. If you're an event organizer or know of an event in need of assistance with profit margins and crowd management, don't hesitate to reach out to us. Let's work together to make this festival season one to remember forever! #festivalseason #events #organisers #crowd #eventmanagement

Project Kingsday: ✅ 🎉 Pilot projects are always something special for startups. It's where teamwork, ideas, and experiments converge for validation. At AirRobotica, we recently had the privilege of participating in collaboration with Politie Nederland to have an incredible pilot project during Kingsday 2024, where we contributed to crowd counting and overall event safety. Witnessing firsthand the impact of our system and the potential of our technology was immensely gratifying after months of dedicated effort. A heartfelt thank you to Matthijs Flim and his team for entrusting us with this opportunity. We're excited to continue reshaping the landscape of crowd management, striving to elevate the safety, human experience and revenue at events and theme parks. Ready, Set, Kickoff! We are thrilled to announce the kickoff of our Summer 2023 cohort for the Start-up Voucher Program, a day filled with inspiring moments and the promise of great things to come! Today, our 4 new start-ups joined forces for the first time with our coaches Victor Rijkaart, Edwin Vermeulen and Guido Schwartz. Led by our SVP coordinator Olivier Heukelom, we delved into the program's structure, allowing each startup to set their goals for the next 6 months. Our coaches shared their initial thoughts and feedback, sparking engaging (to-be-continued!) conversations! What is especially exciting about this new group of start-ups is the representation of various areas within the aerospace industry: - Delft Laminar Hump (DeLaH) focusses on passive laminar flow solutions for aircraft Sven Westerbeek, Alberto F Rius Vidales, Jordi Casacuberta - FluxPose presented their wireless magneto-inertial fusion tracking technology for robotics, VR and manufacturing applications Guillermo Presa, Alejandro Cabrerizo - D-Hive proposes a versatile plug-and-play drone swarm system for security and surveillance applications Niels van Nieuwland, David Bos - A-SpaX pitched their in-space manufacturing service Lodewijk Bakker, Nathan Monster All in all it was a very inspiring kickoff session today. Stay tuned for more updates as we follow the coaching journey of our promising new start-ups!
