Celebrating 25 Years of Innovation at BAAT Medical! On November 30th, we had the pleasure of celebrating BAAT's 25th anniversary by presenting our team—past and present—with the exclusive BAAT BOOK! This special edition highlights a multitude of the 300+ projects we've successfully completed and more than 45 customers we've proudly supported in bringing their medical devices to market. The BAAT BOOK was handed over to our founder, Gert Nijenbanning, by his trusted sidekick (and co-founder), Arthur Aalsma, as a tribute to our legacy of excellence in design, development, and manufacturing of medical devices. From regulatory advice to supply chain solutions, clinical evaluation, and engineering, we’re here to help you bring your ideas to life with quality and precision compliant to MDR and FDA. Want a copy of the BAAT BOOK or need expert advice? Get in touch with our team! As part of BAAT Medical’s 25th anniversary, we would like to highlight our team that has brought us this far. Brianna Gerlach: Quality System Engineer Brianna joined BAAT at the beginning of 2023 as a trainee and has since grown into her role as Quality Systems Engineer. She describes the atmosphere at BAAT as one of genuine togetherness, where collaboration and support are at the core of our culture. There’s always new and exciting tasks to tackle, and her colleagues are always eager to help each other, making BAAT feel like a second home. Brianna is passionate about assisting her colleagues with Quality Management System (QMS) and eDMS issues and continually works to enhance our processes to benefit the team. She’s especially proud of her role in the configuration, validation, and implementation of our electronic document management system Cognidox and maintaining our QMS to ensure that we comply with ISO13485 and the EU MDR — both milestones that reflect BAAT’s commitment to quality and innovation. BAAT’s flat organizational structure fosters open communication, allowing everyone to share ideas freely and contribute to meaningful projects. For Brianna, this supportive environment, combined with a culture that values continuous learning and personal growth, has been a major highlight of her experience here. Coloring the Joy of Sinterklaas! As the festive season approaches, the magic of Sinterklaas brings joy and color to BAAT! This year, in the spirit of Sinterklaas, we gave our little artists a creative challenge—a Sinterklaas-themed clip art to fill with colors. And guess what? The results are absolutely stunning! From vibrant rainbows to playful hues, our kids brought their imagination to life, reminding us of the beauty of creativity and togetherness. Their masterpieces now adorn our office, spreading cheer and festive vibes. A big thank you to our mini artists and their supportive parents for making this activity so heartwarming. We are thrilled to share a glimpse of their artwork with all of you! Here’s to the magic of Sinterklaas and the joy of celebrating it together!
