📢 Very proud to announce our investment in the €10 mln Series A of C2CA Technology B.V.! Almost 2 years ago Giuliana pitched me the thesis behind concrete upcycling and altough a lot still needed to happen at that point, I was captured by the approach and potential impact of the C2CA technology. After pinching Thomas to have C2CA join InnovationQuarter in the CIC Rotterdam building and seeing the plan for the first of a kind upcycling facility with Dura Vermeer come together, an investment by Energy Transition Fund Rotterdam was fitting snugly. Thankfully we found the perseverance and cooperation in our co-investors Fred, Hamdi, Elli and Lotte to make a deal and have Pasi, Vicktor and Ilari join to close the full round. Essential roles were played by Carsten, Daan and Quirijn in structuring discussions and getting everything on paper to close the deal. 🙏 Thanks to everybody who contributed along the way! And this is only the beginning... 🚀 A lot of work needs to be done, but I am very confident the C2CA team is ready to make a huge impact on the world!
