To all our partners, customers, suppliers, and friends in the industry, as well as the LinkedIn community, we wish you a peaceful and wonderful holiday season (with a traditional Delft Blue Christmas themed ceramic tile!) At Delft Circuits, we're grateful for the opportunity to connect with you on this platform. We strongly grew our following (by over 30%!), and appreciate your 'likes', 'comments', and overall engagement. You even sang along with us on Fridays (which resulted in this Spotify Delft Circuits Friday Tunes playlist: https://lnkd.in/ggPzv2Nm). We're thankful for our team's hard work and dedication throughout the year. Here's to a happy holiday season and a prosperous new year to all of you. At Delft Circuits we invested in standardization efforts very early on. Why is it relevant for us and our industry? Simply, as soon as standards materialize industries take off. Think of the Compact Disc, WiFi, html, and many, many others. Thank you dr.ir. Rob van den Brink and collegues, for this great early work on standardization for us and our industry. We cannot wait untill the first quantum computer homebrew club emerges and we’ll gladly participate. Let’s also not forget ImpaQT UA as a bottom up interoperability effort for modular quantum computers. ☀️ Sal 🚀
This week we participated in the CEN and CENELEC meeting in Berlin focusing on standardization for quantum technology. To make effective collaboration possible between parties and let the industry grow in the modular quantum computer paradigm, it is vital to formalize the building blocks and interfaces between modules. The latest layer model presented at the conference reached consensus. It identifies the various software and hardware layers, including the Control Highway where we operate. Reach out to us at info@delft-circuits.com to learn more about how you can get involved and contribute to the development of quantum computing standards.

What a week! We will be sharing many more highlights from this week, but we are grateful for all new and existing customers, partners, media and investors that stepped by our booth here in Silicon Valley this week during Q2B. Customers gravitate to our story about quality, and investors like us because we make them realize that quantum computing is happening today! Thanks to our "booth buddies" for a pleasant week, and Nitin Dahad, thanks for a fun evening and for stepping by; always our pleasure! 🚀20 mK milestone reached as SPROUT project concludes🚀 Delft Circuits and kiutra are pushing the boundaries of quantum tech with exciting new developments in enabling technologies – a success story contributing to the European quantum ecosystem. Since its inception, kiutra has focused on building easy-to-use, scalable and sustainable cryogenics for science and quantum tech. Achieving specific temperature milestones for both ADR and cADR cooling is part of this mission. We are proud to announce that we have reached a major target: 🧊20 mK was measured at the kiutra lab testbed!🧊 This key achievement was part of the SPROUT project, in collaboration with our partners at Delft Circuits. Launched in 2021, this initiative aimed to build a cryogenic platform that reaches 50 mK, without using expensive and limited helium-3, includes lots of wiring, and still has enough cooling power to operate quantum devices, more specifically quantum computing chips based on SC qubits. Delft Circuits was an ideal and essential partner in this, with their innovative high-performance cabling offering a space-saving design and low heat-load. The cryostat was integrated in a compact, 19" rack sized format, to demonstrate how the technology could be easily brought to a data center environment. Ruben van Gulik, Klaus Eibensteiner, Jan Spallek, Peter Schüßler, Mario Weisser, Angelina Kinast, Iman Afrouzeh, Nicolas Kinzinger and Steffen Säubert contributed significantly to this project and deserve special thanks for their efforts in making it a success. We are very grateful to the project funders – the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) and Eurostars / Eureka co-financed by Horizon Europe – for making this project possible. SPROUT demonstrates how collaboration fosters innovation. Building on this success, we are excited to work on projects like LEMON to enable a scalable quantum industry. Stay tuned – more news coming up soon. #quantumtechnology #cryogenics #APS2025 #quantumcryogenics #quantumcooling #cryogenictechnology #quantumtech #LEMONproject

🌟 Exciting Milestones Achieved in the SPROUT Project! 🌟 After lots of hard work and collaboration, we’re thrilled to share some incredible achievements in the SPROUT project, a partnership between Delft Circuits and kiutra! 🚀 Last week, we visited Kiutra in Munich, Germany to conduct RF measurements on the superconducting cabling that is seamlessly integrated into their S-Type cryogenic cooling solution. Renowned for its compact design, this system now boasts an incredible achievement: reaching temperatures down to 20 mK without using any helium-3, which is both scarce and expensive! 🎉 This milestone is a testament to the low heat load of Delft Circuits’ high-performance cabling, which has been key to pushing the limits of what’s possible in cryogenic systems. The S-Type system’s small form factor and turnkey design make it a game-changer for quantum technologies. A huge shoutout to the funding partners who have made this project possible: - Eurostars Program - European Union Horizon 2020 research and innovation program - German Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) Their support is helping us bring innovative, integrated solutions to the forefront of quantum hardware development. Also, a big thanks to the main contributors to this project over the last few years: Steffen Säubert, Peter Schüßler and Ruben van Gulik. Here’s to pushing boundaries and unlocking new possibilities in the quantum ecosystem.

Join us next week at Q2B 2024 in Silicon Valley. Our CCO and Co-Founder Daan Kuitenbrouwer will be giving a talk titled: "An Ecosystem Approach to Wiring Quantum (Characterization) Systems." Brought to you by IBM, the talk will cover: Scalable i/o (cabling) is essential for large scale quantum systems. Delft Circuits and Orange Quantum Systems have together worked on field testing and benchmarking Cri/oFlex®, the integrated i/o solution of Delft Circuits for Orange QS’ large scale quantum systems in different projects. This case study describes the i/o requirements for large quantum systems and connects that to product offering of Delft Circuits. Also, it highlights learnings from different projects we carried out. Ranging from validation of Cri/oFlex® for qubit experiments on a limited number of qubits, to building systems with dozens of qubits with a focus on scalability. Don't miss this opportunity to learn from one of the pioneers in the field. But that's not all! Our team will also be at the show, showcasing our latest innovations and solutions at our booth. Come visit us and learn more about how we're shaping the future of quantum technology. Where and when? Santa Clara Convention Center between December 10-12 For more information about Q2B, visit: https://lnkd.in/g6vGpTeQ Feel free to book your meetings here: https://lnkd.in/gNs_DiMG We look forward to seeing you there! #Q2B2024 #DelftCircuits #QuantumTechnology #EcosystemApproach Sal Jua Bosman Frederik Schroder
