Identity and website for Studio Immersief When envisioning virtual reality, one might picture the cinema of the future: slipping on goggles to enter an infinite, interactive world. At the forefront of this media evolution is Studio Immersief, a team blending traditional theatre with VR, AR, and gaming technologies. When they approached us for a rebrand, the instinct was to focus on technology. However, Studio Immersief's roots are grounded in theatrical storytelling—a centuries-old art form. This prompts the question: what is the first immersive world we all recognize? The diorama. First appearing in the 1830s, the diorama—a three-dimensional display box—transported viewers to new realms, just as Studio Immersief does today. This concept inspired their new identity and website, translating the traditional rectangle diorama box into a motion-led logo, bold colour palettes, perspective-warping typography, and a visual language that embraces 3D perspectives within a 2D environment. Campaign design for Amsterdam Dance Event x I Love My Ears in collaboration with Did Another Thing What’s good music without healthy hearing? During this year’s ADE, as hundreds of thousands of music lovers from around the globe gathered in Amsterdam, we brought the mission of I Love My Ears to life with a visual campaign led by Did Another Thing. Spanning billboards, newspapers, TV, and radio, the message resonated far and wide across the capital city. With millions of impressions and only a few seconds to make an impact, we focused on the power of simplicity. The campaign highlighted the ripple effect of sound, emphasizing how small choices—such as using hearing protection with filters—can create a lasting positive impact on your lifelong music experience. Identity and website for GIMIC Radio As a radio station, bar, and creative hub—broadcasting online weekly from the heart of Brussels— GIMIC’s identity is rooted in the early days of telecommunications: Morse code, known for its distinctive 'dot-dash' alphabet developed in the 1820s. We took its mathematical symbols and transformed them into a vibrant, forward-thinking visual language that seamlessly blends history with innovation, making each message a code to be deciphered. The system and website are designed with hybridity in mind, featuring motion-oriented grids, a multi-dimensional logo, and a purple-led colour palette paired with contrasting typographies. Design & art direction for Amsterdam Dance Event With the preparations for ADE 2024 in full swing, we’re looking back at some years of wrapping Amsterdam in the iconic black-and-yellow branding. Canals, billboards, and even trams united in the city through the festival's world-renowned visual language. Campaign design for 10 years of Radion Amsterdam. After renewing Radion’s identity and website last year, we took on the challenge of translating the newborn design system into a comprehensive spin-off brand to celebrate a decade of clubbing. Identity re-fresh for Dilate, an electronic music platform and event series based in Melbourne, Australia. Stemming from an idea of half a decade ago, the message of Dilate remains the same: ‘Expansion through experience’. The minds behind the experimental-oriented music initiative sought ways to further express their mission through their visual identity. With an eye as a logomark, we extended the identity system with a motion-oriented circle layer, a fresh font package with blurs, and a new composition structure, altogether resembling the widening and sharpening of an eye’s pupil. #brandidentity #graphicdesign #visualidentity #artdirection #melbourne

Identity re-fresh for the 10th anniversary of Sonus Festival (by Time Warp & We Love Sound), one of Croatia’s most iconic beach festivals happening right on the shores of Pag Island. In close collaboration with the Sonus team we created a new identity system that evolves from what has been the brand's fundament since day one: the logo. Inspired by the Croatian natural elements, this grid-based design system comes to life with a set of bright colors and new rules for typography and motion. Identity and website for Studio Costae. Initiated by the world-renowned producer and sound artist Sam Coates (Setaoc Mass), Studio Costae creates avant-garde sound solutions and music compositions for the fashion, film, and branding industries. As Coates is described as ‘a creatively restless musical polymath’, our aim was to craft a visual identity for his studio that embodies endless movement.
