The excitement is building at the Impressive Futures Showcase, where we're unveiling OPUS: The Next Stage! Visitors are already experiencing how AR can transform live performances into immersive, holographic experiences that can be enjoyed anytime, anywhere by anyone. We’ll be sharing some incredible projects including;
🩰Birmingham Royal Ballet: Ballet in 3D—bringing The Nutcracker to life in new ways and unexpected places
🎭 Jette Parker Artist Programme, Royal Opera House: New opera encounters blending AR and high-quality sound
📖 Dzifa Benson & Bloodaxe Books: Poetry off the page—3D performances linked to her debut collection of published works, Monster
As well as some older projects and prototypes that helped us get to where we are today, like @tamworthcastleandgrounds AR Explorer - bringing ghosts and stories to life #volcap, #lidar and #augmentedreality, and Lichfield Time Travellers - bringing characters and stories into the present on the historic streets of Lichfield with location-based AR and in collaboration with 10+ local partners.
See how we've been working with leading arts organisations, tech partners at Condense, academic partners at CCIXR - University of Portsmouth and Loughborough University London , and a diverse collection of bold artists fusing techno and tap, renaissance pop, spoken word, fashion and music, jazz, rock, contemporary dance and more.

I found a new way to create AR/AI WebApps. 🔬
This approach offers us the opportunity to sublime Augmented Reality with Artificial Intelligence using chatbots, image-to-video, and image-to-3D technologies.
It is entirely customizable using only HTML/CSS/JS and JavaScript frameworks like A-frame, ArJS, MindAr and ThreeJS. It also can work in addition with ThirdWeb for NFT minting !
🕊 No subscription, no Unity required.
☁️ At least for the part without the OpenAI API or other cloud services.
Getting chatbots to work in live stream mode still necessitates colossal computing power, so we need to borrow some cloud services. However, as we speak, some AI enthusiasts are already attempting to adapt large language models and video generators to function on smartphones.
🖼 For now, I propose this synthetic technology for museums, galleries, and other companies interested in this type of experience.

8SECONDS is a groundbreaking work by artist Bernd Bartolome. The work redefines the boundaries between embodied art and artificial intelligence. In this groundbreaking piece, ballet world star Friedemann Vogel interacts for the first time with Bartolome's artistic AI. This interaction is not only a technical and artistic innovation but also challenges traditional concepts of art.

Why is everyone talking about… immersive art? 🎨
A global explosion of interactive exhibitions, venues and installations is transforming the way we engage with art. As more artworks shift from gallery walls to a multitude of digital forms, what explains this recent boom and where is it heading next? https://buff.ly/4hgHLC8
Directional sound: Myths vs. Facts
Myth: Directional sound is too complex to operate.
Fact: Systems like Speaker B are designed with user-friendly controls and straightforward setup. Whether in stores, museums, or exhibitions, integrating directional sound is simple and accessible for all businesses.

Accessibility to museums is enhanced by various types of cultural mediation, such as the use of audio guides, which consist of a means for innovative mediation put forth to make the museum visit more autonomous and simultaneously replace the traditional guided visit.
It is also an invaluable solution for foreign visitors and particularly people with special needs, such as the blind and visually impaired, the deaf and hard-of-hearing or the intellectual disabled.
