Also known as 𝐒𝐜𝐨𝐩𝐞 3 𝐞𝐦𝐢𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬, this data includes everything from carbon emissions to resource use and waste generation throughout the supply chain. With tex.tracer, brands can gather accurate environmental data directly from suppliers at each stage of the product's journey. This data is then analysed through a 𝐋𝐢𝐟𝐞 𝐂𝐲𝐜𝐥𝐞 𝐀𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 (𝐋𝐂𝐀) to pinpoint the biggest emission sources and identify quick wins for reducing the product's overall footprint. ✨ Once you know where your largest impacts are, our platform helps you take real action to reduce emissions, giving you the insights you need to communicate your environmental performance confidently to stakeholders. • A recent EY survey highlights that over 𝐡𝐚𝐥𝐟 𝐨𝐟 𝐂𝐅𝐎𝐬 are concerned about the risk of greenwashing due to ongoing challenges with sustainability data—like inconsistent reporting and data gaps—that undermine confidence in meeting sustainability goals. With mounting pressure from investors and regulators for transparency, 96% 𝐨𝐟 𝐟𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬 report issues with data integrity. Although new regulations, third-party verifications, and AI are emerging as potential solutions, many CFOs remain cautious about their current effectiveness. 💬 As Dr. Velislava Ivanova from EY notes: “Finance leaders are highlighting the difficulty of producing credible reporting disclosures due to the highly complex nature of sustainability topics and the overwhelming amount of reliable data required.” 𝐑𝐞𝐚𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐫𝐞 𝐩𝐨𝐬𝐭 𝐛𝐲 𝐜𝐥𝐢𝐜𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐛𝐞𝐥𝐨𝐰! 👇 #textracer #EY #Greenwashing #Sustainability #Transparency
