Not at #SolarQualityEU summit last week? Here’s what you missed! ⚡ A sudden loss of 3 GW generation could cause wide-spread European grid instabilities. With the NIS2 directive, asset owners must prioritize compliance—it’s critical for grid security. 🔍 Module defects are on the rise – a “wave” of failures are being reported for modules that are only an average of 7 (!) years old. The consequences of a push for ultra-low cost hardware may be here. 💡 Sharing data with the right context is harder than it should be. Too much information is trapped in PDFs. Structuring it will save time and make data valuable. 📢 New O&M Best Practice Guidelines are out! A big step for industry-wide quality — free to use and share. Comment below and we’ll send you the link. The solar industry is still young, but it’s maturing fast – getting ready to meet the clean energy demands of tomorrow! Accessing and sharing the right information at the right time is fundamental to quality, and quality is crucial to sustainable and continued decrease of the #LCOE.

"What is your main resource drain when sharing data with externals?” 🤯 We're just back from the #EUQualitySummit organised by Intersolar and SolarPower Europe where Gautier had the chance to be on stage for a workshop on “Optimising Data Sharing between O&M, Asset Managers and Owners”🎤 We talked about the importance of context when sharing data. This context mostly comes from unstructured information stuck in PDFs. By structuring it, we can save time, unlock new sources of information and better utilise the data being shared. We wrote an article on this topic that you can find on our website. During the workshop, Giuliano from Statkraft asked the audience: ”What is your main resource drain to share data with externals?" Check out the result of the polls. Results speak for themselves 👀 and that’s exactly why we our building Aevy ☀️ Big thanks to Giuliano, Nikoletta and Beatrice for organising the workshop and Jelena, Christian Schill from Fraunhofer-Institut für Solare Energiesysteme ISE, and Andrea Monni from Valmont Solar for sharing the stage.

🧮 203 days and counting...is your team drowning in Due Diligence? The average due diligence timeline has ballooned 63% in a decade – from 124 days to 203 days. For renewable energy, the ability to quickly evaluate assets isn't just an advantage – it's essential. Due diligence processes are still manual and resource-intensive, limiting the number of opportunities teams can properly evaluate and how thoroughly they can be assessed. The harsh reality is that... 🚨 70% of deal time consumed by document Q&A 🚨 50% of deals fail from "analysis paralysis" 🚨 Critical lifecycle data is buried in PDFs This matters now because... 🚀 Continued exponential growth of renewables requires better capital deployment 🧩 Complex assets require deeper insights to reduce deal risk 🏁 Competitive deals mandate rapid analysis Success relies on finding and securing the best deals – independent of if you are selling or buying. Aevy Due Diligence is tailored to onshore wind and solar assets, automating the heavy lifting of structuring and analyzing the available information. The question isn't whether you need faster due diligence - it's how much longer you can afford manual processes. 👉 One last thing; we’ll share more information on our upcoming collaboration with select partners soon. Comment “DD” or send a direct message (Aevy, Gautier, Stig) if you want to know more.

After an eventful 2024 we closed of the year by onboarding some amazing new investors and securing financing to accelerate and grow through 2025! 🚀 The round was led by Startuplab which, as one of the premiere early-stage investors in Norway, and our current “home”, is an amazing addition that cements our Norwegian roots and makes us part of their amazing community and network. Aidiom is another new investor bringing substantial experience from scaling AI-driven SaaS solutions and fundraising. The last new investor to join us is CTO Roundtable which, as the name suggests, are heavily focused on the technical aspects and affords us access to one of the premiere technical ecosystems in Norway. Last, but not least, we are delighted that Antler has shown continued support! "What makes Aevy special is how they combine deep operational experience with cutting-edge AI – building real solutions from years of industry insight. The founders have lived the problems they're solving, and are very ambitious when it comes to how to attack the big commercial opportunity. Being able to connect innovative startups like Aevy with our industry partners creates opportunities for both sides, and we're excited to support them on this journey as part of our portfolio.” says Gisle Østereng, Head of Investments at StartupLab. As the dust from a busy fall settled, we took these past weeks to reflect, strategize, and prepare for what's ahead. Now, we're ready to make 2025 truly remarkable. We'll expand our talented team and gear up for some major product announcements, with incredible collaborations in the pipeline that we can't wait to share. To our investors, team, and early supporters: thank you for believing in our vision and being a part of the journey. We look forward to continuing the collaboration. The best is yet to come!
