Day 1 of ADIPEC has been a whirlwind on the Extender stand! Thanks to all of our clients and partners who visited us today. Come and see us on stand 9155 tomorrow to learn about the future of non-metallic downhole tubulars!
Om oss
Extender is a light weight and corrosion free tubular made of carbon fiber composite material. The inherent low weight extends the length of any wells or replace costly corrosion resistant material. For geothermal, carbon capture storage and oil and gas.

Extender and MAXTUBE have announced a collaboration agreement aimed at broadening the company’s respective markets and introducing new technologies in Norway and overseas. This partnership will support the growth of Maxtube's DUOLINE technology in Norway, while Extender's innovative carbon fiber lower completion technology will be made available to clients overseas, marking a mutually beneficial arrangement for both companies. DUOLINE technology, developed by Maxtube, is highly regarded for its effectiveness in enhancing tubular performance and lifespan. Through this collaboration, Extender will provide this proven technology to Norway, where it can play a significant role in advancing the implementation of non-metallic well construction. "This collaboration signifies an exciting step forward for both Extender and Maxtube," said Mike Williamson, Chairman of Extender. "Providing DUOLINE technology in Norway will enable us to offer field proven, reliable solutions to meet well construction demands for the upper completion and will seamlessly compliment Extender’s own lower completion carbon fiber tubulars." In return, Extender's products will be introduced to selected markets overseas through Maxtube's distribution channels, expanding Extender's global market reach. "We are pleased to partner with Extender to support the DUOLINE technology in Norway and to broaden the availability of Extender's products overseas," commented John Simpson, GM of Maxtube UK. "This collaboration allows us to offer comprehensive solutions to our clients while opening up new markets for both companies." The collaboration between Extender and Maxtube highlights a strategic effort to enhance technological exchange and market expansion, ultimately driving innovation and sustainability in the energy sector on a global scale. In a groundbreaking achievement, our Extender Carbon Fiber Tubular has demonstrated success in a recent multilateral well campaign project in Norway, showcasing its exceptional capabilities in providing a robust open hole junction. The project's outcome not only marks a significant milestone in wellbore technology but also positions our product as a leading solution in the industry. The Extender Carbon Fiber Tubular was strategically employed to enhance the wellbore integrity and strength of the open hole junction in a challenging Norwegian offshore operating environment. The unique properties of carbon fiber, including its high strength-to-weight ratio and corrosion resistance, played a pivotal role in ensuring the reliability and longevity of the wellbore junction. This successful implementation has garnered substantial attention, leading us to present a detailed technical paper at the upcoming SPE Bergen Subsurface conference in Bergen on the 17th of April 2024. The paper will delve into the innovative techniques, engineering considerations, and the exceptional performance of the Extender Carbon Fiber Tubular in the multilateral well application. As we participate in the conference, we are excited to announce our presence at the event with a dedicated stand showcasing the Extender Carbon Fiber Tubular. This platform will allow industry professionals, researchers, and stakeholders to engage with our team, explore the unique features of our product, and gain insights into its applications in wellbore completion. Join us at the SPE conference in Bergen as we share our experiences, insights, and advancements in multilateral well technology. Our commitment to innovation and excellence continues to drive the industry forward, and we look forward to collaborating with fellow professionals in shaping the future of energy exploration and production.
