Central in Europe, approx 1 - 1.5hr flight from most places, including Oslo… Geir-Arne Remmem, Thomas Hostvedt Dahle, Kaspars Veidemanis and Eduard Sheremet proudly shows you the way :-) And - in case you wondered - we are keeping our old place, now serving our more “dirty” steel works. SAFETY FIRST! TRAIN AS YOU BOAT! GANNET GROUP is relentless working to improve SAFETY AT SEA – not only in constructions of new vessels or repairs at our ISO 9001 / 14001 approved yard in Riga, Latvia - but also for safety training of personnel. With partners we now offer NMA approved (Norwegian Maritime Authority) courses as follows: -       High Speed Boat Operations Certificate, for both Pro & Pleasure crafts. -       ICC – International Certificate of Competence for boating. Our instructors have diverse and extended experience from Royal Norwegian Navy and Norwegian Coast Guard to high speed boat manufactures. We can even train at your place, using your company´s own vessels! Training in both Norwegian and English language is available. Picture from an exciting 50 knot event in January this year! HSBO Certificate: Our educated staff are offering seafarer training and certification according to the new and mandatory requirement by Norwegian Marine Authority for all crafts, pleasure and working vessels, that could achieve +50 knots. This applies to crew from all nationalities when operating in Norwegian waters, also military personnel. ICC Certificate: This certificate is a confirmation, often necessary in many European countries, that the holder has the required knowledge and skills to operate a boat safely in international waters. The ICC covers various types of watercraft, typically powerboats, sailboats, and personal watercraft, depending on the qualifications and assessments completed by the holder. The ICC is issued under the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE) Inland Transport Committee Resolution 40. 100% zero emission HYREX 28 posing at our yard! While it may be the first of its kind in Latvia, we do know that this is Norwegian-Latvian cooperation at its best! GANNET GROUP have been chosen by Hyrex AS in Norway to overhaul and prepare a 100% zero emission HYDROGEN vessel for its third season. Once finished, the vessel will head to Venice for the Venice Boatshow 2024, where NatPower will exhibit her and share the status for their impressive hydrogen infrastructure roll-out. HYREX hydrogen drivelines are an important technology for us, and we now have several builds lined up for 100% zero emission drivelines.
